Design with a reason.
A good-looking screen is only part of the job. Here’s how a community app shaped the decisions behind the interface.
One community.
Different needs.
Residents and administrators used WhatsApp groups and spreadsheets. I designed across the brand, interface, and communication to bring community updates, payments, and activities into one app.
Transparency,
with a choice.
I proposed configurable visibility for unpaid dues, so each community can decide how to share balances without treating every neighbourhood the same.
SOS, made
intentional.
A 0.7-second long press followed by an upward slide makes activation deliberate. The interaction was designed to help limit accidental triggers.
